The Idea...

...on the InnoHof as a real laboratory and model farm for circular economy was born in 2019 in the Leibniz Strategy Forum on Conflicting Goals of Sustainable Biomass Production (since 2022: Sustainable Agri-Food Systems).

The call for project proposals for ZifoG ideas by the Brandenburg Ministry of Science (MWFK) in 2020 provided the perfect opportunity to turn the idea into reality. The outline submitted by ATB received funding approval in autumn of the same year and ATB is coordinating the implementation phase of the ZifoG project as the funding recipient, with the involvement of numerous Leibniz and other non-university research institutions and universities.

Ongoing research projects of the partners as well as continuous new approvals involving the InnoHof research infrastructure have achieved a high level of public awareness since the start of the funding programme. The funding is continuously invested in technology as well as in the construction of new infrastructure.
