Timeline of research infrastructure implementation
2021
Start-up phase
In the start-up year, the partner network is established, the thematic working groups begin their activities, and the first basic investments are made. Above all, the necessary coordination and formal planning steps take place. The basis for a joint interdisciplinary digital cooperation and data platform is prepared.
2022-2026
Investment and construction phase
During the project period, once planning activities have been completed, the model farm location will be continuously expanded and additional equipment will be procured. Initial research projects and information events are already taking place in parallel, if construction activity permits.
2027-
Full commissioning
With the completion of the investment project and after the official commissioning of the Innovationshof as a research infrastructure, more transfer events will take place in addition to research activities.
The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture (MWFK) is funding the Leibniz Innovationshof für nachhaltige Bioökonomie (Leibniz Innovation Farm for Sustainable Bioeconomy) as a research infrastructure from 2021-2026 with €25 Mio. from the Zukunftsinvestitionsfonds (ZifoG) of the state of Brandenburg.
